This post is really really overdue (I made it a year ago... oops) and I definitely feel like I have abandoned my site :(
I guess life gets crazy when you have a baby! But I feel like it is time for me to be back into the cake decorating world. So bring it on!! :)
I am also working on a recipe/craft blog so I'll keep you all posted as soon as it's up and running!
Here is the cake I made for my husband's grandmother's 80th birthday. It was my gift to her and I wanted to do some kind of quilt because she has a passion of making quilts.

C&K anniversary
Do you remember this cake?
Kate and Colten celebrated their first anniversary this year, and due to a pretty tragic event (the family was taking the top tier of the cake home after the reception, that they were planning on freezing and eat on their first anniversary, and in the car the water from the flowers spilled all over the cake...) Kate asked me to recreate the top tier of their wedding cake and surprise her husband with it! How cute! So now you know why this cake looks so familiar! :)

Happy anniversary Kate and Colten!
Disney Princesses
Anniversary cake
Jeremy and Brittny just celebrated their wedding anniversary and asked me if I could make a cake for the occasion. We wanted to do the fun rustic look with some calla lillies, flowers that Brittny had in her bouquet on their wedding day.
I absolutely love calla lillies and I was so thrilled to make that cake for them! Such a cute family!

Turkey Day
For Thanksgiving this year I really wanted to make some Turkey Pops! Nothing too fancy, but they were super fun to make and awesome for the taste-buds!
